| The story of Sadako Sasaki (A Japanese Young Girl) is basic inspiration behind Sadako Trust. This story is beginning of love, friendship and togetherness among diverse nations of this globe. Sadako's story is a ray of hope for Kashmiri people to struggle for life after that deadly earthquake disaster and for keeping their spirit high. Sadako's innocent struggle was not just for herself that she wished healing, but what made the girl truly special in her effort was her additional wish to end all such suffering, to bring peace and healing to the victims of the whole world regardless the cause.(Complete Story) In present times, due to war destruction, illiteracy, sexual abuse, poverty, natural diasters and social injustice, millions of Sadakos are struggling for life. It is our core responsibility to help them out. To put our share in this noble cause and following the footsteps of Sadako Sasaki, we established SADAKO TRUST in Azad Kashmir - Pakistan with a clear aim for "Education, Friendship and Peace".
In our first project Sadako Trust's Peace Educational Network (STPEN), trust will launch a network of educational schools for the children in earthquake affected areas. Orphans, deserving and poor children would be provided a platform to get unbiased education to realize the importance of global friendship so the dream of lasting peace can be matured. This project would also help to develop a more just and tolerant peaceful society in earthquake affected areas in long run. First school of this project is under-construction in Chela Bandi, Muzaffarabad-Azad Kashmir. |
